Ambassador Committee Co-Chairs: Ryan Adelberg, PrideStaff; Suzanne Chambers, Roebuck Technologies This group of volunteers serves as an extension of our staff and assists at all our events by welcoming new members and guests and helping new members connect comfortably and engage through our mentor program. They focus on membership recruitment by educating nonmember companies about the Westshore Alliance. The meetings are held monthly; view the schedule here. Master Plan Committee Chair: Randy Coen, Coen & Company; Vice Chair: Gary Schaaf, Becker The Master Plan Committee plays a role in advising and guiding long term development in the Westshore District. The committee is active in the evolution and implementation of the Westshore Master Plan, Westshore Overlay District Standards, and the Westshore DRI. Through these tools, the committee encourages consistent and aesthetically appealing design standards and streetscapes. Additionally, the committee works to identify sources of funding to implement recommended projects. No prior experience needed to participate, and committee membership is available to all Alliance members in good standing. The committee meets bi-monthly on the first Wednesday of the month. Transportation Committee Chair: Lauren Brooks, AECOM; Vice Chair: Danni Jorgenson; LOCHNER Whether you walk, bike, drive or use public transit, Transportation policy affects your daily commute. In fact, Transportation has continued to be the number one priority of the Westshore Alliance since 1983. Members of the Transportation Committee advise multimodal transportation policy for the district. The committee is active in the development and implementation of the Westshore Transportation Action Plan. With the Action Plan, the Alliance works to identify and advocate for the funding of transportation improvements to increase mobility and ease congestion while making Westshore safe for all commuters. No prior experience needed to participate, and committee membership is available to all Alliance members in good standing. The committee meets bi-monthly on the first Wednesday of the month. Public Art Committee Chair: Paula Buffa, CCIM; Vice Chair: Dustin Lemke, Hillsborough Community College Public Art is essential to the wellbeing of the Westshore District, and the Alliance plays a role in identifying, curating, and promoting Public Art for the District. The committee serves as a conduit for public art projects by collaborating with property owners, artists, and advocates to make a satisfying product for all parties. Meetings are frequently on-location at some of the most inspiring and intriguing art installations Westshore has to offer. With the committee’s work, Westshore hopes to become the best destination for aspiring artists in the Tampa Bay region. No prior experience needed to participate, and committee membership is available to all Alliance members in good standing. The committee meets bi-monthly on the third Tuesday of the month.
